Privacy
How your information is handled
Written plainly, because it matters more than most legal pages.
What is said in a session
Sessions are private. What you say stays between us. The standard exception is a serious risk of harm to you or to another person, and where the law requires disclosure. Even then, I will talk to you about it first wherever that is possible.
For adolescents, I explain at the start of the work what will and will not be shared with parents, so that everyone knows where they stand before we begin.
Notes
I keep brief working notes so that I can hold the thread of our work between sessions. They are kept securely and are not shared with anyone, other than in the exceptional circumstances above.
The enquiry form on this site
If you use the enquiry form, the name, contact detail and message you enter are stored so that I can reply to you. They are used for that purpose only. Nothing you send is sold, shared with advertisers or used for marketing.
Please do not use the form for anything urgent. Messages are read when I am free between sessions, not continuously.
WhatsApp and calls
Messages you send on WhatsApp are held on your device and mine, under WhatsApp's own terms. I use it because it is what most people find easiest, but be aware it is a third party service.
Asking about your information
If you want to know what is held about you, or would like it removed, write to sunitam2109@gmail.com or message the practice number and I will deal with it.
